Ljeta leads the development and implementation of effective processes and systems that enable Revalue to deliver high integrity carbon projects. She has 10+ years of experience designing, building, and managing operational functions across a range of industries, including Tech, Engineering and Environment.Prior to joining Revalue, Ljeta worked at McKinsey & Company helping clients develop and implement new operating models and transformation programmes geared towards efficiency, sustainability and innovation. In addition, she has great knowledge of IoT as she also led growth at a global IoT company specialised in environmental monitoring.Ljeta holds an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning and an MBA from INSEAD.
Michael is an ecologist and climate change expert, providing scientific-based solutions to environmental and social problems primarily in the field of forestry, agriculture, carbon sequestration, land-use change, climate change, hydrology, and climate adaptation. Much of his work involves capacity building with local partners and scientific leadership on carbon projects such as Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+), improved forest and agricultural management, reforestation, and restoration of degraded wetlands and forests. Michael has experience on REDD+ in Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Bolivia, Bangladesh, Sierra Leone and the United States.
Prior to his current role with Revalue, Michael was an ecologist and climate change expert at Winrock International’s Ecosystem Services Unit. As a member of the Ecosystem Services Unit, he has helped develop strategic initiatives that have expanded Winrock’s water programs, and integrated innovative web-based geospatial tools into Winrock’s portfolio.
Michael has over 15 years of experience as a researcher and project manager of environmental programs both domestically and internationally, securing funding and implementing projects from a diverse group of funders including foundations, conservation organizations, government agencies, and multilateral institutions.
Allison works across the portfolio team to support the design and development of nature-based projects.Prior to Revalue, she worked in climate philanthropy, served at the US Embassy in Turkey, managed shipboard and shore-based military logistics as a US Naval Officer, and was a London-based strategy consultant.She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental geology from Bryn Mawr College, an MBA from Wharton Business School, and a PhD in organizational learning in conservation from Imperial College London.
Robert was part of the initial team that launched Revalue in 2021 and is currently sitting in the investment team, where he ensures the commercial readiness of our projects before we look for investment.
Prior to Revalue, Robert was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company working across multiple sectors and functions, specializing in the energy and industrial sectors supporting companies in their decarbonization strategies.
Robert holds a degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, the city he calls home, and gets his energy from practicing all type of sports and spending time in nature.
Mbacham has a background in environment and natural resource management with over 5 years of experience working in providing socioeconomic, and environmental science-based solutions in the field of climate change, Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Uses (AFOLU), community development and resource use governance. Mbacham supports the design processes of our projects for end-to-end delivery of high integrity nature-based carbon projects.
Before joining Revalue, Mbacham managed the development of blue carbon REDD+ (Reducing Deforestation from Deforestation and forest Degradation) projects for Cameroon, The Gambia, and Sierra Leone at S2 Services. He worked with the Cameroon Wildlife Conservation Society (CWCS) in promoting wetland conservation and restoration initiatives (tree planting, carbon inventories, community engagement and consultation) in the Douala Edea National Park (DENP). He supported drafting of the Simple Management Plan (SMP) of Ajei Highland Watershed Community (AHWaCoFo) with high integrity prospects in mind for the community and gallery forest landscape.
Mbacham holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Buea and an MSc in Natural Resource Management in Forestry from the University of Dschang.
Mahdan is a data-driven solution enthusiast. He helps design, construct, and maintain efficient data models throughout the team.
Prior to joining Revalue. Mahdan spent most of his professional career working at Big Data Innovation Labs in several UN agencies. He worked closely with the government partners to utilize big data, especially open data, to build data-based social policies.
Mahdan holds a Computer Science degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Ria manages Revalue's portfolio in Asia Pacific, working closely with in country partners to establish long term partnerships and develop our pipeline of ecosystem service projects.Prior to working for Revalue, Ria led South Pole's Business Development strategy in Southeast Asia to identify and build partnerships with key stakeholders in the forestry and land use sector. Ria has worked for more than 10 years in the sustainability sector in Southeast Asia, including managing major UK government grants.Ria holds a Master's degree from SOAS University of London in Climate Change and Development with particular interests in rural development for forest communities.
Carolina, as a Carbon Technical Associate, is responsible for carrying out technical analysis, designing and monitoring high integrity nature-based carbon projects in Revalue's portfolio worldwide, with special focus in Latin America's pipeline. She looks close adherence to the latest best practices and recommendations from the scientific community and the high integrity voluntary carbon market initiatives.
With 8 years of experience in the Amazon region, Carolina has worked with renowned civil society organizations and multilateral organizations. Before joining Revalue, Carolina was technical consultant to determine the potential carbon stock to finance and articulate a conservation strategy in the Central Amazon Biosphere Reserve (RBAC) alongside UNESCO. She has supported the technical implementation of the Jurisdictional Plan of REDD+ in the state of Amazonas, Brazil, and also assisted in fulfilling the requirements for the Amazonas state to adhere to the jurisdictional ART/TREES standard. She served as a Network Manager for SDSN Amazonia, where she managed sustainable development projects alongside Panamazonian organizations. Also, she has experience in accessing climate finance in Brazilian states and with civil society organizations.
Carolina holds a Master's degree in Tropical Forest Science from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA) and a Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering from the National Agrarian University (UNALM).
Emily works alongside the Exec Team to deliver across the business.
Prior to Revalue, Emily was helping to scale the LEAF Coalition, which mobilized >$1B for jurisdictional REDD+ in 2021. Here, she developed and delivered projects across operations, strategy and finance.
During her time as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in London, she delivered sustainability strategy for public and private clients across a range of industries. Much of this work was focused on nature-based solutions and voluntary carbon markets.
Emily holds a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and is based between Indonesia and London.
Sarah sits in the investment team where she leads the financing of our projects.
Prior to Revalue, Sarah worked for 5 years at Tristan Capital Partner, a real estate private equity fund, as an associate investment & asset manager. Overseeing c. $1.0bn AuM across Europe, she developed expertise in investments in private markets and opportunistic asset management. In 2022, she decided to solely dedicate her skills to climate mitigation.
Sarah holds a Master in Finance from EMLyon business school (Grande Ecole). French speaking living in London, she gets her energy from practicing running and yoga as well as spending time in nature.
Edit is also a Non-Executive Board Director of the UK’s first rewilding business, the Real Wild Estates Company, co-chair of IETA’s Natural Climate Solutions working group and Steering Committee Member of the Coalition for Private Investment in Conservation.
Prior to her current role, Edit was Investment and Development Director at Mirova Natural Capital where from its launch in 2013 until March 2022, she managed the pioneering EUR100m Althelia Climate Fund portfolio including the monetisation strategy through its affiliate Ecosphere+, as a Member of the Executive Committee. In addition, she has been leading on the company’s new development activities, including the origination, and structuring the L’Oreal Fund for Nature Regeneration, Nature+ Accelerator Fund and Orange Nature Fund managed by Mirova.
Edit has over 16 years of experience in climate finance, carbon markets and conservation finance impact investing having worked in various financial institutions, carbon funds and renewable energy companies in London, Paris, Lugano, Rotterdam and Budapest. Edit has experience on REDD+ in Peru, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Kenya, including cocoa agroforestry and sustainable cattle.
She is an environmental economist, HEC Paris, CEMS and Goldman Sachs Global Leader Alumni and has been a guest speaker at several international climate and conservation finance conferences worldwide.
Matthieu supports the technical analysis and design of Revalue’s nature-based conservation and restoration interventions. He tailors strategies that push for a carbon accounting going well-beyond standards while bringing rich social and biodiversity co-benefits.
He implemented sustainable livelihoods projects in Latin America, East Africa, and the Middle East for the past 10 years. He holds a double Master of Science in Forestry and Biodiversity Conservation and specialized in Lidar and Photogrammetry remote sensing to monitor natural habitat and biomass.
Prior to joining Revalue, Matthieu served as Head of Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross where he coordinated humanitarian operations in several armed conflicts. Matthieu also worked with Ecoforensic in Ecuador to develop a network of paraecologists to collect ecological data and support environmental cases presented to the countries' Constitutional Court.
Shay collaborates with the Chief Portfolio Officer to ensure coordination within the Portfolio Team and between the Portfolio and Technical Design and Data Intelligence Teams. She contributes to maintaining a high level of organisation and clarity in internal communication and processes across the company.
Prior to Revalue, Shay worked for Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Here, she ensured charities were appropriate funding from the government for their work.
She is a Trustee/Treasurer of the charity Black Voices Cornwall.
Passionate about geospatial data science and its practical applications in real-world challenges, Kurnia supports the development of robust geospatial models and conducts forecasting, while also utilizing earth observation to ensure science-based landscape assessments.
Prior to joining Revalue Nature, Kurnia played a significant role in various conservation NGOs in Indonesia, working on the ground and collaborating closely with local communities and governments, with a focus on preserving the rich biodiversity and wildlife of tropical forests.
Her academic journey includes graduating in Forest Resources Conservation and completing a Master's in Remote Sensing at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Getting her hands dirty, Kurnia embraces her love for nature by spending leisure time exploring the forest and cherishing the diverse wildlife and other fascinating creatures. Her profound connection with nature strengthens her commitment to safeguarding the environment and its invaluable ecosystems.
Lucia is part of our Cross-Cutting team at Revalue Nature, jumping into all areas of the business to drive and ensure effective delivery of cross-functional projects and sustainable scalability of our teams and processes as we grow.Lucia has 4 years experience working in cross-functional roles at high-growth start-ups. Most recently she has spent two years establishing a BizOps function at a SAAS marketing business in London, building and iterating core operating frameworks to set up teams and processes for scale and managing high-priority cross-functional projects. Prior to this, she spent two years as a Project Manager scaling the people, processes and products in a rapidly growing portfolio of events at a marketplace app in Madrid.She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Spanish from Edinburgh University, spent 4 years living in Spain and is currently based in London. She is most often found on her yoga mat or, further afield exploring the world's cities, oceans and mountains.

Simon helps to build remote sensing and earth observation capabilities at Revalue to bolster the development of high-integrity carbon project.
He holds master's degree in remote sensing from University of Gadjah Mada, driven by a deep passion of the intersection of remote sensing technology & earth observation data science. He embarked his professional journey as GIS & Remote Sensing technical consultant working on different geospatial projects (land cover/use, urban & forestry) for both government and private entity. Prior to Revalue, Simon spent two years working for SYSTEMIQ where he played a role in building remote sensing capacity for nature-based solution projects. This has driven him to pivot his career into environmental service space working for people and climate.
He loves an old school blues and soul music records especially vinyl and sometimes making an instrumental guitar solo to charge his creative energy.
Jade is Revalue Nature's Chief Operating Officer, responsible for helping scale the operations and organisation to effectively deliver on our vision of rethinking carbon project development from the ground up. He brings extensive strategy, finance, and operations experience from both established companies like Google and the startup world.
Prior to joining Revalue, Jade was CFO for climate tech startup Earthly and Founding Partner for climate-tech VC fund Ambo Ventures. He was previously part of the strategy and finance team at Google, helping to drive the EMEA region's growth, and helped launch a variety of impact initiatives, including Google's Startups for Sustainable Development program that now serves over 300 startups globally. He has a background in finance at Merrill Lynch and as an entrepreneur in the MENA region.
Jade is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He is a native of Morocco and loves rock climbing, scuba diving, and spending time in nature.
Jules Tyler is an external consultant providing support to our Operations team. She is currently assisting Revalue Nature with its recruitment drive, as well as helping to ease bottlenecks in backlogged tasks and general operational and administrative support.
Jules runs two businesses. Her main business is online business support/management and she also works as a mindset and success coach, having trained with Jay Shetty to gain her certification.
Quite the adventurer and daredevil, Jules loves nothing more than ticking off bucket list items and experiencing all the world has to offer.
Zealandia joined Revalue Nature as she completed her master in Copernicus Master in Digital Earth, a joined master degree program between University of Salzburg, Austria and Palacky Olomouc University, in Czech Republic.
Her expertise in Earth Observation and Cartography contribute in sharpening spatial analysis in Remote Sensing team of Revalue Nature. Her works combining geography, earth observation, and artificial intelligence to create effective and high accuracy spatial data.
She finds maps can be both expression of geography signatures and the beauty of mother nature's art.
Stuart founded Revalue to rethink carbon project development from the ground up, building a company which supercharges the world's leading nature-based developers.
He spent 5 years scaling ventures focused on Natural Solutions before building Revalue, including as South East Asia Director for a GBP 120m incubator facility.
During his time as a Director with SYSTEMIQ he helped build their Indonesia Office from 4 people to 100+, including establishing their spatial intelligence team and capabilities. He is a systems nerd, with expertise in delivering complex portfolios and programmes at scale.
Formally a strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company in London he worked across Europe and North America in a range of industries including engineering, finance, media, telecoms, and healthcare.
Stuart was an entrepreneur as part of the second cohort of the Entrepreneur First accelerator, holds a degree in physics from University of Oxford, is a lifelong tech nerd, lives in Indonesia, and tries to spend as much time in nature as possible.
Alexa has twenty years of experience working in forest climate ecology in the private, civil, and academic sectors. She has worked extensively across all three tropical basins on end-to-end delivery of REDD+.
Through her scientific background in climate ecology, and as a trained statistician, Alexa delivers evidence-based decision making on our portfolio. An ESG specialist, has advised on climate strategy for major investment houses, and was selected as one of twenty individuals globally to train under UNITAR’s Executive Leadership Programme in Evaluation and the UN SDGs.
Nico is a result-driven and enthusiastic Spatial Data Scientist, Supply-Chain management expert and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience.
He has worked in various sectors such as health, energy, economic empowerment, environment services and emergency response with local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and for-profit companies in multiple countries in Europe, West & Austral Africa, the Middle-East and South-East Asia.
Nico holds a M.A. in Global Affairs & International Development Studies with specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and a M.Sc. in Global Supply-Chain Management.
Prior to Revalue, Laura was researching forest-positive business models in the Brazilian Amazon, including regenerative cocoa farming in the state of Para with De Mendes chocolatiers and mushroom cultivation in the state of Amazonas with mycologists at INPA (National Institute for Amazonian Research).
Prior to her current role, she was a key member of Milbank’s market-leading financial restructuring practice in London handling complex problems and advising investors on negotiated multi-billion dollar international restructurings and corporate rescue transactions. Laura was recognised by the Turnaround Management Association with the 2020 transaction of the year award for the successful restructuring of Portuguese cabling business Solidal Condutores Electricos.
Laura brings 10+ years of wide ranging legal expertise across company life cycles from start-up / VC / PE / M&A to restructurings across multiple industries (including tech & fintech, food processing, civil engineering, retail & industry).
Laura holds an LLB from the School of Oriental & African Studies in London and and LLM from New York University. Laura is admitted to practice in England & Wales.
Amanda works closely with our in-country partners to assess and develop our pipeline of ecosystem service projects across Asia Pacific.
Prior to her current role, she spent 2 years establishing the sustainability department at Sampoerna Kayoe, one of Indonesia's largest timber companies. Here, she developed the sustainability strategy and implemented projects across supply chain and operations. Much of the work involved working with smallholder farmers across Indonesia, focusing on sustainable forest management and livelihoods.
Amanda holds a degree in International Relations and Politics from Cardiff University.
As a climate change specialist in the land use sector, Alex has over 13 years of experience in climate change mitigation, project management, data analysis and capacity building across the globe. He has advised national and regional governments, civil society organizations and other stakeholders in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands on REDD+, sustainable land-use planning, forest monitoring, ecosystem valuation, carbon markets, carbon project development and GHG accounting. This includes advising, Malawi, Ghana and Vietnam on the development of their national forest reference levels. He has led and managed the implementation of $10M+ projects, managing budgets and sub-contractors, supervising staff and consultants.
Prior to joining Revalue, Alex served as a Climate Change Lead in Winrock International’s Ecosystem Services team. Alex holds a Master of Environmental Science and Law, and an Honors Bachelors of Science. He has experience working in Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Lao PDR, Malawi, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, the Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Vietnam, Australia, and the United States.
Makhotso works closely with our in-country partners to assess and develop our pipeline of ecosystem service projects in Africa. Through her work, Makhotso continually aims to promote extensive community engagement to ensure that vulnerable communities — including marginalised groups — are at the forefront of building their own resilience and, as well as the ecosystems upon which they depend.
Prior to joining Revalue Nature, Makhotso worked on the design and development of climate change adaptation projects for C4 EcoSolutions in South Africa — funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) — for several countries, including Botswana, Malawi, Haiti, Tuvalu and Liberia.
Makhotso holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and English from the University of Botswana.
Adar works to ensure organisation and efficiency across teams.
Prior to joining Revalue, Adar worked with early stage start-ups scale operational processes effectively, coordinated volunteer efforts and managed account management teams.
Adar holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Tel Aviv University and a Master's degree in Humane Education from the Institute for Human Education, which furthered her passions to protect planet Earth, non-human animals and vulnerable populations. She enjoys spending time in nature with her furry companion, especially walking alongside flowing creeks.
Geniung helps design and implement data pipeline architecture, automates data extraction and transformation processes, and ensures efficient data delivery at Revalue Nature. Prior to Revalue Nature, Geniung worked in Financial securities in Indonesia, where he delivered data-driven solutions and AI implementations for the company. Geniung holds a Mathematics degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Outside of work, Geniung is a sports enthusiast and loves spending time outdoors in nature while taking pictures and videos.
Rumi is a conservation social scientist with a background in behavioral science, informing evidence-based solutions to advance environmental sustainability. Rumi leads Revalue Nature’s impact monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) initiatives globally and designs behavior change strategies using experimental methods. She has over 15 years of research and project management experience with expertise in REDD+, community-based conservation, and behavior change. She is particularly interested in understanding psychological, social, and contextual factors underlying people's decisions and behaviors and finding effective ways to motivate individuals to adopt sustainable resource-use practices across the tropics. Rumi has expertise in survey design, behavioral experiments, and impact evaluation through both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
Prior to joining Revalue Nature, Rumi lived and worked in Indonesia for over 7 years and led sustainable land-use, forestry, and REDD+ projects. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Japanese. In her spare time, she enjoys training capoeira, playing music, hiking, and cuddling with cats. Rumi holds a PhD in Resources, Environment and Sustainability from The University of British Columbia and a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.
Dimas plays a pivotal role within the Remote Sensing Team at Revalue, where he actively managing and analyzing remote sensing imagery, developing robust sampling strategies, and maintaining data accuracy and quality with utmost confidence and proficiency.With a bachelor's degree in Cartography and Remote Sensing from the University of Gadjah Mada, his profound passion for remote sensing and geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) is the driving force behind his work. His focus on studying forests adds depth to his expertise.Prior joining Revalue Nature, Dimas honed his skills in Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) mapping through diverse projects, while also making contributions to non-profit organizations and communities like YouthMappers, OpenStreetMap, and QGIS Indonesia.His unwavering commitment to the geospatial community fuels his desire to continue propelling geospatial development, particularly in Indonesia.
Daniel works across the portfolio team to support the design and development of nature-based projects. He has over 18-years research experience in ecology, with the last 10 years spent in full time academic research. With 40 peer-reviewed academic papers, his work has broadly encompassed how the nighttime natural environment is being impacted by human activities and the relationship between nature and human health and well-being. During his PhD in tropical avian ecology at St Andrews University he carried out fieldwork on the Jos Plateau in Nigeria. Prior to his academic career Daniel spent 3 years working in applied conservation in the savannahs, mountains and marine environments of Tanzania, including 2-years leading expeditions into the remote Eastern Arc Mountains conducting biodiversity surveys and discovering species new to science.
Daniel is passionate about regenerative agriculture and runs a 16-acre small holding in Cornwall complete with bullocks, pigs, chickens and a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor. When not working or on the smallholding he can generally be found up a mountain.
Gabriel is an expert in REDD+ projects and methodologies, forest carbon monitoring, and spatial analysis in scenarios for development and conservation evaluation. He co-authored Verra's VM0015 Avoided Unplanned Deforestation and Degradation (AUDD) methodology, and REDD+ experience in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Bolivia, Ethiopia, Nigeria; notably in the Juma Reserve REDD project and Suri Forest Carbon Project in Brazil, and the Bale Mountains Ecoregion REDD+ project in Ethiopia.
Prior to his current role, Gabriel served as consultant Specialist and Technical advisor in Land-Use-Change and Climate Change in the tropics for various private and government organizations such as Forest Trends, Inter-American Development Bank, Mirova, National Institute for Space Research (INPE), and National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA), and UN Environmental Programme.
Gabriel is a highly skilled conservation practitioner leader with over 15 years of experience in conservation practice and science related to Biology, Ecology, Geography and Forest Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in geography, specialising in land use change and development in the Brazilian Amazon basin.
Astrid is a consultant Executive Assistant at Revalue Nature, supporting Founder and CEO, Stuart Rowland, as well as the Operations team.
Prior to working with Revalue, and setting up her Virtual Assistant business, Astrid spent 11 years working in the retail and arts industries, as Operations and Customer Services Manager for Adventures in Furniture, and Head of Sales for Lumitrix fine art gallery, and then as a Private PA for a high-net-worth individual.
Astrid enjoys supporting business owners and entrepreneurs, and having the opportunity to support cause-driven organisations, such as Revalue Nature, who work to make a real and much needed impact in the world.
Astrid has a MA Honours degree in Modern History from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and is currently based in London, United Kingdom.
Outside of work, Astrid loves nature walks, yoga and travel, and is kept busy with her passion for acting.
Sabila as an Administrative Associate at Revalue Nature works in supporting Operations Team. Her field in Administration, HR and Finance contribute to promoting professional, accountable and transparent projects and reports while aiming to provide exceptional service in attaining effective and efficient way in day-to-day business support to the departments in Revalue Nature.Prior to working in Revalue, Sabila has several years of experience in the said field across multiple industries. Lena is leading on the set-up and running of the HR function at Revalue Nature, and is focused on ensuring that the team has a positive, progressive work environment as the organisation scales.Prior to joining Revalue Nature, Lena gained nearly five years of experience supporting the scaling of start-ups, through the design and implementation of people processes and practices. She is a true HR generalist and believes in focusing on each phase of the employee lifecycle, to overall create a positive employee experience.Lena has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Leeds Beckett University, and has more recently gained her CIPD Level 5. She also holds a Mental Health First Aider qualification, which supports her desire to enable a supportive workplace for every employee.
Sharon works in the investment team to support project financing and commercial readiness evaluation.Prior to joining Revalue Nature, Sharon was a Management Consulting Analyst at Accenture Hong Kong, driving digital and cultural transformation projects across banking, insurance, retail, and healthcare sectors.Sharon holds a BBA in Global Business & Marketing from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London.
